PROFIT
I just found out! The first 2 months the coworking space was open, we "almost" broke even. Well, this third month we turned a $4 profit!!! I am so excited. My partners and I are going out for dinner next week with the money LOL

Oddly, less of the money is coming from coworking (although that is slowly increasing) and more is coming from after hour events (yoga classes, Reiki, poetry workshops, painting classes etc)
I would prefer more of the money coming from coworking and the tech side, but hopefully that will come. We have tech meetups twice monthly- one is for codewriting/hackathon (no internet hacking, it is more of a techie sharing of their work) and the other is for actual projects being taken on by the group and the space. First up- we are in the midst of building a robot, that walks around, and is like the clapper- it comes when you clap.

I have no clue how large the robot will be. I am not really involved with the techie stuff- not my forte. I am the event person, and the contract/money woman. Thanks SJR- we are raking it in now! heahaha

Chicky, she wanted to take art and photography this coming year in school but couldn't. She applied for VoTech in 9th grade to go for photography but they wouldn't take her. Said she missed too many days in middle school. She has had three years of art already. She is giving up one job soon.
