I know that she felt, after soooo many years that enough was enough and she left HGTV completely. I heard her say that "Decorating Cents" was becoming the "Gunsmoke" of HGTV. In other words, on forever.

I wish she would find a new show to do. I really like Joan.

Someone posted that she is doing, I want to say a radio show in Minnesota....and loves doing it.

It seems like there is a poster that knows someone who knows Joan.

Not to crazy about the new show.

I also read that Joan and the Rob guy that did T2T on DC went into business together. ?
To me Joan was Decorating Cents so maybe that's why the new show seems so odd.

Sue ...Joan had a site with Rob W. selling items but it seems to no longer on the web. Sorry to see her go, may have agreed with all the changes but did get some tips.
Tired of selling houses, and your house is worth?

This is what NonnieMouse said on this thread........

http://www.hometalkentertainment.com...Steffend+radio

ETA:

Strange, I was able to quote a statement from NonnieMouse, and I know she posted more information regarding Joan........but I guess she is no longer a member here?

The post is gone from that thread.

Strange.........

Well, I now I'm not going crazy....because I was able to quote her.

I haven't seen that show in eons, but I used to like it when Joan was on. DH could not stand her voice for some reason. I hope she does well on her radio show.

I don't even watch HGTV much anymore. They've taken off all the shows that I've ever been interested in. All the people I could stand to look at and listen to... LOL! (*"*)

Thanks for posting the link Nonnie; I remember that thread.

It seemed to me that Joan's own talent and skills were never showcased; they always depended on the desiger du jour. I hope she's happier with the new path her career has taken.
