Default Wesson and Crisco Canola Oil

I have been paying $7.xx for a gal of Wesson Oil and $8.XX for Crisco ...today at Walmart Wesson was $11.XX and Crisco was $10.xx...DANG..do you know how much oil we use? Hopefully it's cheaper at our distributor

That's probably because of transportation cost.

Yup. It's affecting the cost of everything. Not only is driving to the store more expensive than ever, leaving there makes me feel violated.

Crittersue, out West we have stores called "Smart and Fnal". They are sort of an outlet for food distributors. On some things you can get a better price. They also carry some commercial resturant equipment.

Take into account that taking corn out of the food supply, and making it fuel will pinch related foods.

We are with the USFood Service..hopefully theirs is cheaper..well I know it is but hope it's not gone up too much..We will make an order next week so I will know then

I've never had a problem with canola oil leaving sticky goo but Pam certainly does!

I use store brand stuff. I only buy the name brand when it's the same price as the store brand.
