I love it!! So cheerful and colorful! I especially love how you varied the density of the colored tiles. Also great job on the roll in shower. Super smart to think of that! Great job!

Coco, maybe the kudos should go to YOU. You advised me to get an architect. I wanted colored tiles, but she is the one who came up with the idea of varying the density of the colored tiles. I am energized whenever I look at this bathroom. (For those of you who might think it's too colorful, my other bathroom has a jetted tub and very soothing colors. I can always take a long bubble bath in there if I need to relax.) I'm all set for old age now with my roll in shower. My daughter has been acting as though I will be in a wheelchair any day now!

Now my next project will be to use the left over tiles to make a table top for my patio. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I love it! But how do you randomly put tiles in place? I'm one who needs things planned out, so "random" is hard for me.

Bopeep, the architect came up with the idea of the tile placement. She laid it out on her computer based on the percentages I gave her (50% white, 10% green, 10% yellow, 8% blue, 8% aqua, 7% red, 7% orange). She suggested starting sparse in the corner with the vanity and gradually increasing the colors going into the shower corner. The tile guys took her computer printout and placed each tile individually. If I had opted for 1" x 3" tiles from another company, they would have done the color placement for us in the 12" grids. The cost would have been about the same since the labor would have gone quicker, but I decided on the bigger tiles. The tile guys absolutely loved this job. I sat out on the patio and watched for much of the process and they were cheerful the whole tedious time. They took pics to show future customers.
