Default New Bedspread

I did have a white matelasse bedspread on this bed but found this vintage Bates bedspread at a shop on Friday. Bought it and it is perfect. I think it has a better look than the other one.

I like Bates because you can wash them and they clean beautifully. I used to have one years ago but I guess I got tired of it and got rid of it.

But . . . it's back!

Perfect! Those old Bates bedspreads are the best!

Bates will last a lifetime for you, and for whomever inherits! Love them.

I love matelasse, but this new bedspread certainly belongs in the room

I had a similar one that was a wedding gift (don't know if it was Bates), but I washed/bleached it dozens of times; just loved it...

Yes, they still make them. Vermont Country Store sells them for sure.
