Default Will you deco for Valentine's Day?

I have a few things I may drag out for the living/dining area since we'll be having dinner guests at least once during Feb. Even tho I live in FL, my house seems drab this time of year and I have a real craving for color right now

I decorate my entry hall for every holiday and season! I don't have time or energy for more than that, but it sure is fun to do that one area.

No, but there may be some fresh flowers and candy making an appearance here.

I do have a luncheon for friends for Valentine's Day and I'll decorate the table -- with pink or red or white flowers. And since Valentine's is after Ash Wednesday, the Easter egg tree will be out as well.

That's always the extent of my Valentine's decorating -- the table for luncheon or dinner (for we sometimes have friends over).

No decorating other than the usual heart on my sleeve.

No special décor for Valentine. But I do have red as an accent color in my family/living room...does that count?

I decorate with my students at school. A bottle of red wine and a fire in th fireplace are all the decor I need at home.

No decor. The heart-shaped meatloaf will be on the dinner menu, as it has been since 1973. We were married, still at University, and church mice were way better off than we were. Ground beef was about $.75 a pound, and we only had meat one night a week. I remember how fun it was to make that hokey thing for him.

We don't give each other presents or cards. We just remember that first Valentine's Day, and how special it was, and how far we have come.

Sharing my valentine decoration in my entry. Last year I posted a picture of the heart and arrow that I had and I was wondering what to do with them. Someone on this board, I can't remember who (sorry) suggested I put them in a wreath. (great idea!) I liked my wreath so much I am using it again this year just as it is.

And then I hung this large ornament on the door of an armoire I have in my kitchen. Simple, but it reminds me of Valentines day.

And then this is a picture from a year ago, but I will make this for my husband on Valentines day.. It is a double chocolate brownie baked in a heart pan. It is his absolutely favorite valentine treat. So that is what I do for valentines day. Not much, but enough to celebrate the season.

Yes.

DGD loves to do it. We have a few odds and ends to put out and she has fun with it.

Usually DS and family come for dinner.

Not sure how that will go since things are different this year.

Front door, dining table, and pink/red/white flowers around the house. Not over the top but just enough to be Valentines Day. Expecting chocolates from the kids (per usual).

I've done so in the past but not every year. CocoKay, I like your pics.

I'll add some pics when photobucket is up and running.

I add some hearts to the wreath on the front door and a heart pillow to my bed. That's about it. CocoK, I was the one who suggested the wreath and I like the resulting wreath that you created. Now that you've used it two years, it's time for you to pass it on to me...just kidding. :-)

I was excited that someone actually liked one of my ideas and used it to come up with a great piece, so thank you!

I don't decorate for holidays, except a tree, but I am not a fan of having holiday related stuff all over the house.
