It's new old -- although it does look vintage it doesn't have the patina that real old would have! (And I've seen plenty of real bathrooms of that age!)

But I like it!

It's a very well done reproduction, so new old.

The curb on the shower looks old to me. I think it is a refurbished bathroom. It looks great.

I like most of it. However I do not like the pipe and fixture color. It seems to hold the eye. I would rather not be drawn to a drain pipe.

Looks like there's an GFCI outlet on the wall next to the sink. So I'm going with new old.

Chijim -- will you tell us whether it is new or old?

I agree with this. To me, there's nothing attractive about bathroom pipes. Why draw your attention to them?

Jimzmum, I noticed that too. It almost looks GOLD PLATED? (But perhaps that is just the photo)

I think the classic silver would look better.

I took another look at the shower curb. Now I think what I saw that looks "old" to me is a gold band that runs down the center of the tile. It looks dark until it hits the blue tile. I would personally have gone with chrome because gold isn't my thing.

Now I've decided that what I am looking at is actually the edge of the glass door!!! So much for my career as a detective!

New old. Old bathrooms don't general have two lights centered over two sinks, with two hooks, etc. Unless it's a major mansion, that is a relatively new phenomena--like in the past 50 or 60 years. And gold plated or whatever was reserved for the very rich industrial men. Most folks had iron, copper, maybe steel?

I noticed the wall tiles are curved by the sink. Interesting feature which explains the two sinks with no countertop space.

The shaving mirror is a nice touch but it's too bad the gent doesn't rate his own towel rack.

I don't like this but it's very nice reproduction. That I would gut to make functional.

BuddyBoosMama -- how dumb of me -- of course, no old bathroom would have TWO sinks -- they'd have a his and her bath instead if it were a mansion -- not two sinks in ONE bathroom -- duh -- what was I thinking!

The two sinks is the best clue that it's new old!

Unfortunately have no idea of it's age, I found the pic on a Tumblr site without any other identifying info.

Chijim -- I think it is the consensus that it is not old.

I like it but wouldn't want it new or old. I just think of how hard it would be to keep clean. If it wasn't for the tub and shower, I might think it was a restroom in a store somewhere.

No toothbrush, for Milady? She apparently depends on chewing rose petals...or she's away, on a trip.

One thing really bothers me... they have both brushed nickel and brass in there. I know it is nit picking, but we just put in a brand new bathroom, are also adding a power room, and are redoing a bathroom, things like that are really noticeable.

Looks new to me. An original bath would have had chrome fittings, the shower would have been smaller without that type of door. The tile work isn't period, and the double sink idea is pretty new.
