Default Sensa granite help me pick color (pics)

Here is my kitchen. I used "paint" to put up a picture of the 2 granite colors I am thinking about. The one to the right has some burgundy chips in it (hard to detect in picture). Not too many, but some. The sage is called Rosemary Sprig by BM. It's one color up (deeper/darker) than what I have now, which is Soft Fern. I also put up the valance picture which I will get when I re-do counters. Here is a link also to the Sensa granite site if you see any other colors that would look good. Thanks so much.

All I can say is that I have to re-do these disgusting pinkish laminate counters. The old owners were in love with pink. I think they were the same owners of Nancy's old house!

I like the 3rd choice you added.

Your valance...where did you get that?

The valance is from Country Curtains. It's called Moire. I love the colors and they're perfect for the look I'm going for.

I also like the 3rd choice best as it has a little brownish to the color. Thanks for responding.

Thank you...I just was searching country curtains looking. The reason I asked, yesterday at Goodwill, I picked up 3 yards of that exact fabric to make valances with! I would love to get more.

I like the one with burgundy flecks and the brown one. I think the black one might look a little harsh in your beautifully redesigned kitchen unless you're planning on putting some other black things in there.

Wow I love your paint and valance choices Morar. It's going to be a wonderful kitchen. I can't wait to see!

The one with a bit of burgandy fleck would be my pick... (*"*)

I like the 3rd granite choice best.

The option with the burgundy is nice but then you are locked in to a more specific color scheme.

As for the pink, I feel your pain!!

I like the top one in the middle. The burgandy one is going to be hard to decorate around.

Just as I thought would happen...there's a vote for all 3! Tie, regarding the one in the middle that you mentioned might look harsh without more black in the room. I'm planning on new hardware for the cabinets and I would get a darker bronzed or wrought iron look. The stove, which you can't see is all black (as is the dishwasher).

The burgundy flecks, you can hardly notice them. The guy in Lowes actually had to point out that they were there.

The brownish one I like as well. I'm torn. Back to square one!!!

I picked the black one in the middle because of your applicances. I thought it looked good and helped blend it all in. some extra iron pieces would work. the one with burgandy, i don't care how light, will show and you'll regret having that pink cast there.

Hi Morar -

LOL - I should have read past your first post...... I've had several windows open going back and forth trying to compare your kitchen with all of the possible colors......

I was going to suggest a darker color...... then I came back to the thread and saw that you have indeed added a darker color.

So - #3 would be my choice. I think goes better with the cabinets and would give you some "definition" in the room. I think #3 pulls all of the room colors together - and still gives you other options if you want to change your valance at a later time.

Love all of your other choices..... especially the valance.

could you go even darker?? like a brown. I like the third one but I think you could even go a bit darker with a granite choice.

I still like the one with the burgandy flecks... they're not obvious, but just give a little shot of color. Me? I have a touch of burgandy in most every room (or pink), so having it there permanently wouldn't bother me in the least, as it's one of my colors of choice anyway.

The brownish one to me, looks muddy. NOT a fan of browns here. I do have a good bit of taupe, but it's a grayish taupe.

You could go anywhere colorwise with #1, but again... I'm just drawn to that little fleck of color... (*"*)

I added one more to the mix, a little darker brownish tint. I do like all of these, and for different reasons. I also am showing the kitchen without anything on it so you can see the appliances. With all of the swatches you can't see the color of them.kitchen w crema pearl and blanco lebon1 & santa celia and juparana gold.jpg

I think I still like #3 - or the one on the extreme left........

I think it will work with more colors and pull the room together.....

good luck making this decision..... I know it's a tough one.

the third one..that's the exact one I picked at the website...don't pick anything that matches your paint or curtains. Pick something that coordinates with your cabinets.

I like #3. I think that color would look nice with your lighter cabinets.

A huge thank you for helping me out. It is a tough decision and I am leaning toward #3. I am so excited to be doing this. And when I do I promise to post pictures.
