Always groundbeef, sometimes the bob evans italian sausage.

My uncle puts pepperoni in his. I never had it, but heard it was good.

I usually make a meatless one, but when I do use meat I'll use italian sausage or ground beef.

This is something I've actually made before! :D

I used hamburger, the medium cheap kind but I drained it. I think the fattier meat just tastes better.

'course, I don't really know what cut of beef is ground up to make "hamburger."

Generally none but on those rare ocassions with... then it's: 1/3 beef; 1/3 pork;1/3 veal. Ground to order.

My mom buys most of her meat from a butcher shop, and she always tells them "run it through twice" when getting her ground beef.:yup:

Ground sirloin, but that's all I ever buy for anything requiring hamburger. I also had some pre-cooked italian sausage.

I use ground turkey, just to make it a little healthier. Sometimes I'll add spices to make it taste like sausage, but I don't think the kids like it that way as much.

I made lasagna last night, I used ground beef & turkey italian sausage . I didn't care for the turkey sausage, it just didn't have the flavor I was use to . So back to regular italian sausgae .
